The Miss High School America Scholarship Pageant is excited to announce the 2017 Miss High School America will win a full tuition scholarship to Western State Colorado University. 

Western ranks among Forbes', U.S News & World Reports' "Top Colleges"

Western State Colorado University moved up Forbes' Top Colleges list this year while also earning a spot in U.S. News & World Reports' Top Regional Universities in the West. 

"We are very proud of these rankings because they reflect the tremendous value that Western brings to our students, both in terms of educational experience and return on investment through post graduate opportunities, " says President Dr. Greg Salsbury.

Located in Gunnison, Colorado, Western is a public liberal arts collegiate. When the school was established in 1901 it became the first public liberal arts college on Colorado's Western Slope. The university offers 67 undergraduate programs, and the most popular areas of study are business management and environmental studies. at 7,700 feet above sea level, Western State Colorado has one of the nations's highest elevations for a college campus. Located in the Rocky Mountains, students have access to hiking, camping climbing, and skiing. The school is marked with a large "W" that sits on Tenderfoot Mountain, overlooking the town of Gunnison, CO.
